‘Brindisi’s sweeping vocals inspired the audience to give a mid-show standing ovation’ – Solon Kelleher, WBUR
‘An earthbound angel gracing the audience with her God-given, golden pipes’ – Craig Semon, Worcester Telegram
‘A voice as eclectic and versatile as her personality and interests’ – Pulse Magazine
Cara Brindisi’s Summer Solstice Concert brings magic and meaning to the longest day of the year through her music and storytelling from the stage. Over the last 3 years, Cara has successfully curated and sold out her Annual Winter Solstice Concerts held at the historic Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA each December. Audiences have described her concert as whimsical, reflective, and joyous – all the elements that she and her band will bring for The Summer Solstice Concert on June 19th at The Spire Center!
For over 15 years, Massachusetts native Cara Brindisi has been performing for audiences of all kinds throughout New England and beyond. A professionally trained vocalist and Music Therapist from Berklee College of Music, Cara has spent her dual-career writing and recording music, producing and performing in unique concerts, and working during the day as a Hospice Music Therapist. Cara had the thrilling opportunity to compete as a contestant on Season 22 of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in which she gained national recognition for her variety of style and vocal range. John Legend described her voice as ‘perfect’ with Blake Shelton saying ‘hypnotic’ and her coach, Gwen Stefani, using the term ‘effortless’. Cara parlayed this life changing experience into a brief move to Nashville, TN to record a portion of her soon-to-be-released debut album, ‘I Am Home’. Her album was crowd-funded 250% by her fans through her highly successful Kickstarter campaign in late 2023. Cara has been releasing singles from the album and is excited to share the full body of work in 2025 while maintaining a rewarding career as a Music Therapist on Cape Cod and growing the Solstice Concerts with each passing year.
