The Spire Center for Performing Arts is so grateful for your support throughout the pandemic and we are so excited to begin to welcome back our patrons! Over the past several months, we have been working diligently to create a plan that ensures safety while attending a show at our venue. The reopening process will constantly evolve as we adhere to the “new normal”. With that, the Spire Center has outlined the following guidelines.
If you are feeling sick and have symptoms of COVID-19, including but not limited to fever, loss of smell or taste, muscle aches, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, gastrointestinal issues, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, awaiting test results due to exhibiting symptoms, or are suspected of having COVID-19, you must stay home.
The Patron Experience
When seeing a show at the Spire Center for Performing Arts, there will be many new procedures in place including:
Face Coverings: A properly worn face covering which covers the nose and mouth is required by all unvaccinated patrons.
Sanitizer Stations: Once a patron has presented their ticket and entered the venue, they will be directed to a hand sanitizer station. These stations are a located at the entry and throughout the venue.
Ticketed Seating: Ticketed seating will be adjusted to comply with all state requirements for social distancing at the time of the show. New seating assignments may be required and ticket holders will be notified via email if a new seating assignment will be issued.
Restrooms: Both the single use restrooms on the main floor and the larger restrooms on the lower level will have longer lines to ensure proper social distancing. The lower level restroom will have a reduced occupancy to ensure social distancing. Frequent cleaning will be occurring in the facility of all restroom facilities, commonly touched surfaces, and high traffic areas.
Concessions: Beverage sales will still continue, but will look different. Plexiglass shields will be placed between the server and patron to allow for additional protection. All beverage glasses will be single use and should be discarded following consumption. All servers will follow all proper safety protocols and procedures, including frequent handwashing and sanitization, face coverings, gloves, and frequent cleaning of all spaces.
Disability Accommodations: The Spire Center for Performing Arts is always committed to the experience of all our patrons. The new procedures that have been implemented may cause unanticipated effects for some patrons. The Spire Center and staff will make a diligent effort in ensuring reasonable accommodations for patrons as allowed by current Federal, State, and Local guidelines. We would ask any patron requesting Disability Accommodations to inform the Spire Center prior to their planned arrival.
Cleaning and Disinfecting of the Facility
The Spire Center is following strict cleaning and disinfecting guidelines directly for the Center of Disease Control and Prevention to ensure a safe experience for all attendees. All surfaces, seating locations, restrooms, entry areas, lobby spaces, services locations, and more are being deep cleaned and disinfected following every show or event. We take great care and responsibility in providing safe and healthy facility.
