TITLE: Box Office and Hospitality Associate

REPORTS TO: Box Office Manager & Executive Director

OBJECTIVE: This part-time position plays a critical role as part of a dedicated team in a fast paced, live entertainment venue. This individual is responsible for supporting over 125 live shows annually at the Spire Center for Performing Arts. The Box Office and Hospitality Associate serves as the primary ticket seller of all event day ticket sales and supports the artist’s and musicians by arranging hospitality requests. This key member of the staff will work closely with staff and volunteers to execute a seamless performance. This is a nights and weekends position beginning at 4pm on show days. Applicant must be available for all live Spire Center shows.


  • Serves as the primary ticket seller of all event day ticket sales prior to venue events
  • Maintain superior customer service and act as a brand ambassador of the Spire Center for Performing Arts
  • Answer phones with prompt and courteous attitude
  • Use of Etix to process ticket sales
  • Manage Will Call ticket distribution prior to events
  • Responsible for cash handling and box office controls
  • Process event day sales and box office reports, as required
  • Assist customers in resolving ticket related issues and answering questions
  • Fulfill artist comp ticket requests per contractual agreement
  • Act as the customers first contact upon entering the Spire Center
  • Serve as the Spire Center’s hospitality liaison with talent and artists
  • Arrange and fulfill talent and artist requests as approved by management
  • Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes crowded workspace
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB TYPE: Part-Time (12-18 hours per week), Hourly Rate Commensurate with Experience
