The Candlelight Concert Series of Plymouth presents pianist Lenny Williams, vocalist Niav Maher, and special guests Donna Byrne, Marshall Wood and Gabriel Jonas.

Lenny Williams is a versatile musician best known as the pianist for the late Eva Cassidy. He worked and recorded with Eva from the late 1980s until her untimely passing in 1996, playing piano and keyboards on the majority of her recordings and live performances. He has also performed with Chuck Brown, Smokey Robinson, Stephanie Mills, and Anita Baker.
He has played with the National Symphony Orchestra, The Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, performed at the White House, and was also a pianist for the DC political satire group ‘The Capitol Steps’ for 25 years.
As a composer, he has won six Emmy Awards for his work with PBS and National Geographic Television and Film. He has written music for over 1000 hours of broadcast television and feature documentaries over a 35 year career.
Lenny is currently a professor in the Film Scoring department at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Niav Maher is a virtuosic piano soloist and vocalist spanning several musical genres, combining personal sensitivity with insightful interpretation. Niav is the recipient of highly competitive scholarships and awards, and has performed across the United States and Europe. She holds two degrees from prestigious conservatories and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts at Stony Brook University.
The Candlelight Concert Series
The Candlelight Concert Series offers a variety of intimate musical experiences in four of Plymouth’s most historic venues: Plymouth Center for the Arts, The Spire Center, The Antiquarian Society’s Hedge House, and Pilgrim Hall.
Hundreds of flickering candles will create a serene ambiance, offering a magical, immersive escape for the evening.
