Spire Center Volunteering
Flexible schedules and frequent availability is preferred. We want to know you by name! This is a commitment. We rely on our volunteers for the Spire to effectively run in a smooth and consistent fashion. 🙂
Please apply below! If you don’t hear back immediately, don’t worry—we batch applications until the next group training is scheduled. Once that training date is scheduled, all suitable applicants will be emailed a registration link via SignUp Genius where they may register for the upcoming Volunteer Group Training.
Once having successfully completed Training, a link will be sent out via SignUp Genius to trained volunteers so that they may sign up for shows which are posted in two month installments.
To volunteer in any capacity (box office/usher/etc), you MUST attend and successfully complete the Volunteer Group Training. Opportunities to train are available—the first step in the process however is to apply below!
Our SPIRE volunteers are our lifeblood and integral to the smooth, efficient, and personable experience we offer here! We appreciate our SPIRE Volunteers and wish to see all succeed! However, please be advised of the following:
The Spire reserves the right to determine after training whether a trained volunteer is a suitable fit for the Spire. The Spire, at its discretion, may suspend future ability to sign up for shows at will if the following tenets are not upheld:
- Performing the inherent duties of being a Spire USHER (including but not limited to: seating, facility set up and breakdown, cleaning duties, customer service, kindness, selling of artist merchandise if/when requested, slovenly appearance or flagrant disregard of dress code, loud/obstinate/disruptive behavior, harassment, discrimination of any kind.)
- Attendance at scheduled shows and/or events { a commitment has been made to by signing up for}. Repeat tardiness, no call/no show, lack of consideration are grounds for dismissal.
