Brandon Martin is the Spire’s monitor
engineer and back line manager. He
comes to us with a passion for music
and raising his nine year old
daughter, Aubree. He’s not shy about
sharing his battle stories of defeating
active addiction in order to help
others. Although what truly speaks
volumes about his recovery is his
exemplary work, dedication and
friendship.
Born at the dawn of the Grunge era,
Brandon always had a deep adoration
for music. He idolized bands such as
Nirvana, Soundgarden and Stone
Temple Pilots, later to be joined by
heavy metal artists like Metallica and
Pantera. By the age of Fifteen, he had
taught himself to play all his favorite
songs by these artists and more.
When he is not working as our sound
engineer, Brandon performs with his
band and records under the name,
B.D. Martin. You also may see him
working as an audio or assistant
engineer at the New World Tavern,
the Plymouth Waterfront Concerts
and Scullers Jazz Club. Brandon’s
