CRIS REVERDY
Cris Reverdy has been making a living
making art for over 35 years. In her
early career, Reverdy, alongside fellow
artist and friend Jackie Reeves,
designed and painted hundreds of
murals from Boston to Provincetown.
Their murals, often painted in the
trompe l’oeil, or “trick of the eye” style,
can still be found in restaurants, private
homes, commercial buildings and
public spaces. The largest, located at
Barnstable high school’s Cobb Astro
Park, covers an area measuring thirty
five feet high and spans hundreds of
feet across the exterior walls.
Since relocating to Cape Cod in 2002,
Reverdy has continued to explore and
create custom artwork in a variety of
mediums including layered resin,
mosaics and 3 dimensional sculptures.
Her versatility in style and subject
matter along with her willingness to
work closely with clients to bring their
visions to life, has contributed to
Reverdy’s long success.
In addition to her artistic
accomplishments, Reverdy was co-
founder of Yellow House Studio,
Plymouth Community Art Center,
Project Arts of Plymouth, and owner of
Studio Brush and Gallery in Sandwich.
In 2015, Cris discovered her love for
theater and scenic design. She is
currently the scenic charge artist for
Cotuit Center for the Arts and is a
regular contributor to the Falmouth
Theater Guild sets as well as other Cape
Cod Theaters.
