If you are from Plymouth, there is no doubt that you
know or know of the Spire Center's Vice President and
Booking Director, Lloyd Rosenberg. For over forty years
Lloyd was a well-respected Massachusetts Super
Lawyer with the firm Winokur, Serkey & Rosenberg, PC
in Plymouth. Lloyd has received the President's Special
Recognition Award for his work with the Massachusetts
Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Massachusetts Bar
Association. He is the author of published articles
relating to automobile insurance coverage issues and
Lloyd was a lecturer for Massachusetts Continuing Legal
Education, Inc.
Lloyd, along with Mike Landers, were founding members
of Project Arts Inc. Project Arts has provided concerts
free of charge for over twenty years on Plymouth’s
waterfront.
Many people also know Lloyd as a talented singer and
songwriter who performs at Plymouth and surrounding
area lounges.
Lloyd became involved with the Spire Center when it
first opened almost ten years ago. His friend Bob Hollis,
President of the Spire Center told Lloyd of his vision of a
much needed premier concert venue in Plymouth. Lloyd
loved the idea, and he took on the roles of vice president
and booking agent. The Spire is now undergoing a three
and one half million-dollar renovation due to Bob and
Lloyd’s hard work.
Over the past nine plus years Lloyd’s bookings at the
Spire read like a Who’s Who of the music industry. Here
are just a few: Jimmie Vaughn, Jimmy Webb, Dave
Mason, Peter Wolf, Martin Barre, Larry Carlton, John
Sebastian, Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin, Rita Coolidge,
Kathy Mattea, Joan Osborne, Denny Laine, Coco
Montoya, Marshall Crenshaw, Albert Cummings, Tinsley
Ellis, Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters, Quinn Sullivan,
Michael Sweet, Walter Trout, Grace Kelly and many,
many more. On top, Lloyd performing on the Spire’ stage!
